INFORMATION LETTER

NCJSC "Astana Medical University" plans to hold an International Scientific and Practical Conference «АНАТОМИЯ ӘЛЕМІ – WORLD of ANATOMY».

Conference organizer: NCJSC "Astana Medical University", Department of Human Anatomy named after A.B. Aubakirov.

Date and place of the conference: April 25, 2025 at the address: Astana, Saryarka st. 33, 1st floor - conference hall and 2nd floor - Department of Human Anatomy named after A.B. Aubakirov.

Conference Sections:

1. Methods of making wet anatomical preparations

2. Methods of making bone anatomical preparations

3. Methods of preserving anatomical preparations

4. 3-D modeling

5. "Da Vinci" - precise anatomical drawings

As part of the conference, a practical master class "Surgical suture: anatomical approach" is planned

Forms of participation in the conference: for students of the Astana Medical University - face-to-face participation of teams of 2-4 people with the preparation and presentation of anatomical preparations, for participants from other universities - online reports with the presentation of the selfprepared anatomical preparations.

Conference language: Kazakh, Russian, English;

Presentation: for students of the Astana Medical University ¬ in-person presentation of prepared anatomical specimens, for participants from other universities ¬ online reports with presentation of prepared anatomical specimens.

Form of participation in the conference: for local students – in-person presentation of prepared anatomical specimens, for participants from other universities ¬ online reports with presentation of prepared anatomical specimens.

Plenary presentations are determined by the Organizing Committee.

          Application deadline:

To participate in the Conference, participants are requested to fill out the conference participant registration form (Appendix 1) and provide the organizers with an anatomical specimen/accurate anatomical drawing, a short video about the process of making the specimen/drawing. Participants will receive notifications of acceptance of applications within five working days. Applications for participation are submitted until April 18, 2025 (inclusively).

Completed conference participant registration forms are submitted to Suleimenova Fatima Mashimovna suleymenova.f@amu.kz, participants of one team send registration forms together.

Videos about the process of making preparations/drawing precise anatomical drawings up to 3 minutes long (videos longer than 3 minutes will not be accepted) are submitted to Keldigulova Umit Kudaybergenovna kldgl@bk.ru. A message about receiving the video will be sent to the e-mail address you provided.

          The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject materials in case of non-compliance with the Conference topic.

          Materials that are not formatted in accordance with the requirements or submitted later than the specified dates will not be accepted.

          No more than two preparations, anatomical drawings are accepted from one participant.
