Dear colleagues, teachers, students and specialists in the field of health care, education and patriotic education!

Organising Committee of the conference NJSC "Astana Medical University" invites you to take part in the international scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War "The Great Victory: Honouring Courage, An Example for Generations" and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the military department in offline/online mode, which will be held on

25 April 2025 on the basis of NJSC "Medical University of Astana" at the address: Astana city, Beibitshilik str. 49 a.

Start at 10.00 a.m.

Objectives of the conference work:

1.To pay tribute and recognition to the people who defended the honour and independence of our country and defeated fascism;

2.To form knowledge about the Great Patriotic War among students and to immortalise the memory of the peoples' feat. To teach the younger generation to love and protect the Motherland. To educate young people as responsible citizens who respect their country and land, to teach them to bow before heroic feats, to be brave and courageous, to bow before the spirit of ancestors, to believe in victory;

3.Sharing experience of military training in civilian higher education institutions;

4.Improving the theory and practice of military training, pedagogy and methods of teaching military disciplines.

The conference will address the following issues:

1. Doctors of the Great Patriotic War: courage and legacy;

2. Feats of Kazakhstanis on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945;

3. Consideration and elaboration of actual proposals on improvement of the system of military training;

4. Exchange of pedagogical experience on introduction of effective methods and modern technologies of education;

5. Study of issues of military-patriotic work.

Conference language - Kazakh, English, Russian.

During the conference it is planned to discuss the contribution of Kazakhstani citizens and medical workers at the fronts of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945, as well as issues related to the organisation of educational, methodological and educational work at military departments.

Procedure for participation in the conference:

Для For face-to-face or online participation in the conference it is necessary to fill in the application form for participation until 27 March 2025 (send it to the conference email vk_meduniverastana@mail.ru).

To publish the article in the collection, it is necessary to send the text of the report until 7 APRIL 2025 (vk_ meduniverastana@mail.ru).

The report should be drawn up in accordance with the requirements and the attached sample.

The submitted materials are reviewed by the Organising Committee.

Participation in the conference is free of charge.

Following the results of the conference it is planned to issue an electronic collection with ISBN assignment, conference materials will be published on the website of NAO "Astana Medical University" - corpsite@amu.kz (Science/Collections of conferences).

Applications received by the Organising Committee after the specified deadline are not considered, materials of reports are not published.

Requirements for the design of the article.

Объем The volume of the article in Kazakh and Russian languages should be 3-7 pages. The topic of the paper should be relevant to the topics of the conference.

In the structure of the report must be briefly reflected the relevance, purpose and objectives of the work, analytical materials and methods of its implementation, obtained results and conclusions. Also in the report should indicate the practical significance of the work, and justify the conclusions. It is possible to use tables, graphs and schemes.

Parameters of the text editor MS Word 97-2003: document format - A4 (210×297); all margins - 2.0 cm; orientation - portrait; font - Times New Roman; font size - 12; paragraph indent - 1.25 cm; line spacing - single; alignment - width. Tables, schemes, figures should be titled and numbered.

Metadata: title of the paper; author(s), e-mail address, organisation, city; keywords; abstract; literature, information about the author(s).

Assignment of the Universal Decimal Classifier (UDC) index is done by the author of the paper independently through his/her library.
